From New York to Beijing: High School Student Exchange Builds Friendships Across Borders

What is it like for American students to visit a Chinese high school?

In this video, students from Avenues: The World School in New York travel to Beijing to take part in a cultural exchange program with Beijing Chaoyang No.2 High School.

From playing basketball and attending classes to planting trees and making new friends, they experience everyday school life in China while building connections across cultures.

Beyond classrooms and basketball games, this exchange planted the seeds of friendship and mutual understanding in the hearts of young people from both the United States and China.

It also marked a new chapter between the two schools, creating more opportunities for future exchanges and helping the next generation learn from one another.
